1. Start with 50 lbs of plain or mineral salt, block salt, loose salt or several small salt or mineral blocks.
2. Pick a concealed location where deer will feel comfortable. Remove all of the dead vegetation from the site area... approximately 3 ft in diameter.
3. Partially bury your salt or mineral supplement and pull the loose dirt back around the block or pile. (Optional: Sprinkle site with water to enhance the reaction)
4. Pour the powdered portion of Block Topper on top of and around your salt and mineral supplements.
5. Slowly pour the liquid portion of Block Topper on top of and around the salt and minerals to cause the minerals to react and candy coat the entire site.
6. Salt and minerals covered with Block Topper will be devoured by deer within weeks. To increase the number of deer in your area, we recommend replacing the minerals on a regular basis and using Block Topper.
